Technological advances in computing and Internet communications have evolved over the activities of individuals and the way we do business.
Internet has become the ideal platform for the development of small and large companies, enabling the globalization of products and services.
Trade also has benefited from these advances, the so-called E-commerce or electronic commerce.
And what is the E-commerce?
The E-commerce (Electronic Commerce) is the buying and selling goods and services through internet and more specifically the World Wide Web.
We could say that the E-commerce is structured by “virtual store” on websites that offer online catalogs. Even they have created “Virtual Shopping” with plenty of shops with all kinds of accessories for sale. It is also often categorized into e-commerce business to business (B2B), business to consumer (B2C), consumer to consumer (C2C) or between business and government (B2G).
This form of electronic commerce has established large companies already in the stock market and are among the most visited Internet portals.
For example, Amazon.com has become the largest library in the world, receiving several million visitors a month and thousands of book orders, has opened new services including music and video sales because of the success he has achieved and is partly due to the interaction with users who can recommend books and write their views in the same section where it is sold.
Another prominent in this field is CD-NOW, shop where you can buy all kinds of music and also find information about all the artists listed there.
And so, hundreds of businesses have been born on the Internet and other companies that had already been established in the market, are making the transition, offering increasingly better services generated by competition.
Computers, appliances, furniture, books, music, movies, video games, tickets, reservations, sporting goods, flowers, dress and actions are just some of the products and services that can be easily purchased online.
With the large number of interconnected users worldwide, this new means of sales must be used immediately by the companies who wish to adopt the latest technologies and are interested to promote their products in search of potential customers who could be located across the world.
